Celebrating 60 Years of 晚祷

晚祷 is a sundown service that combines the spoken word with selections of music for a sacred closing to the Sabbath. The program takes place in the University Church on selected Sabbaths throughout the year and has been a tradition at Walla Walla University since the spring of 1963.

晚祷 started in the spring of 1963, when the organ arrived at the University Church, to acquaint and bless people at the close of Sabbath.

Celebrate the 60th anniversary of 晚祷 with us on Saturday April 29th, during 校友 Weekend, in the University church, 7 p.m. 8点15分.m. during our Milestones and 任务 Celebration.
